I don't think he's intentionally stretching his holiday out or adjusting it according to developments at the negotiations table. If I recall correctly it was reported as early as the week of the Euro final that he would be back from his holiday on the 7th of August.

Can't see this being announced until he's back.
 
The only insightful post in the last 37 or so pages was the guy saying the only people fretting are anoraks on websites (ie us lot).

The people involved will be completely calm, and have things in place.

And that's probably the better way round!

Roll on the announcement next Tuesday, on page 1002

One thing I don't get when the caf think about why he is extending his holidays if he wants to sign? Guys, he is a celebrity, he must have a couple of events to attend (for which he is being paid). Footballers attract crowd, maybe he has a couple of small events to attend for which he was paid millions? Being from India, I got a chance to meet McCullum during one of the IPL events and he had to fly back to NZ but here he was, just minutes before his flight back to NZ, attending an event in Bangalore. It's just a celebrity stuff, you cannot ignore that.

No it's speculating. I am wondering if certain players would cut short their holidays if it meant pushing it through faster

Also I never said refused. I meant delayed until he was ready.

The problem is that people convinced themselves that the deal was top happen in the next 24 hours and that since the first positive reports from lequipe despite the fact that they never said that it was imminent. The muppets have created their own despair by being impatient.

I'm not desperate for big money signings at all, and usually like to point out the potential negative aspects in many of our signings in recent years (Bastian, di Maria and Falcao for example)
 
Meh, too boring this. Plus it looks like people are more interested in increasing the number of pages in this thread than posting any verified news. I hope 31st august comes fast.

Anyone that doesn't think that the length of his vacation and his date to return from vacation wasn't discussed in the early days of any discussions between United and Raiola/Pogba, are crazy.

Some of you act like United are caught off guard by the fact that he's still on vacation, and not cutting that short to go to Manchester to sign. I guarantee you that his "start date" has long-since been agreed upon, just like it would be for anyone getting ready to start a new job, whether you're a dishwasher or a CEO.
 
Can't Pogba delaying his move just so he can spend more time America. It would be very unprofessional and it would piss his manager off, I just can't see it.

As I keep saying - people want him to repeat himself every day for some reason. The same people who will moan about it when he replies the same thing he said 5 days ago after constant questions on Twitter. No patience seems to lead to mass anxiety on here.

He's known he's coming for weeks and obviously the club is ok with him finishing out his holiday. So why he would he act desperate for the club when he knows he is coming?
