Blasphemy!I have a good feeling about today. Dare I say we might actually win a game.
But if it had a stayed a draw we had the chance to get within a point of 4th, which would have been a huge boost IMO.I don't know about that, Watford would've leapfrogged us if they won
Kind of. If we win that shouldn't change the fact he needs to goBiggest 90 minutes of LVG's United career.
footballing equivalent of this:
That's the dream scenario.Fingers crossed we smash them and LVG still goes.
It shouldn't, but if we win I feel like he's going to stay because Woodward and the board are too shortsighted.Kind of. If we win that shouldn't change the fact he needs to go
A win could put us within six points off top of the league. Personally I think a managerial change and couple of signings would make us a real threat in the 2nd half of the season. With LVG I think the best we can do is 3rd/4th, with a new manager I think we have a real shot at the title.Fingers crossed we smash them and LVG still goes.
yes. like a decision has already been made. Whatever happens with him, hope we play with aggression and purpose.Well LVG looked quite relaxed at the pre-match PC.
Clear message win.
Watford and Everton had the opportunity to leapfrog us, and West Ham and Liverpool still do. Our recent form suggests we are moving down the table not up it so looking over our shoulders is the new normal. Not quite sure what you mean. Tottenham is the only club that was playing that we are/should be fighting against and they won.
Hopefully not, as that'll mean we've probably lost.Hopefully the last 90 minutes of LVG's United career.
mop head will replace him in the second half I feel sure.Crikey! Herrera starting two on the bounce. I felt sure he'd play mop head tonight. 9/11.
Agree completely.Kind of. If we win that shouldn't change the fact he needs to go
That goes without saying, it is also FM's worst feature.Hazard will score his first goal of the season today.
I had that feeling for weeks and thought today's gonna click but yeah, let's seeI'm actually starting to think we're going to get a decent result today. No specific reason, just a feeling that we'll play with the shackles off.
Perennial optimism! There's always the next game!I had that feeling for weeks and thought today's gonna click but yeah, let's see
I've had those little inexplicable bursts of optimism a few times in recent weeks. I don't anymore.I'm actually starting to think we're going to get a decent result today. No specific reason, just a feeling that we'll play with the shackles off.
You are instead allowed to call yourself a fool. You cannot call yourself a fan if you buy scarves like that in my opinion.
Oh fecks sake. Still remember him letting Luiz get away with the most stonewall second yellow, and the complete abomination when Terry scored that winner, Cole getting a free kick for literally jumping out of a clean tackle then Drogba fouling Brown in the box when they scored from it, along with a blatant penalty on Valencia not being given.Just noticed Martin Atkinson is the ref. Doesn't bode well.
He tore us apart in the fixture last year, wouldn't surprise me to see him have the game again given our current form.Sinking feeling that Hazard will turn up today.
Strong argument to say too many fans are being short sighted. Pretty sure that if we were doing an Everton of today the fans would be pissed off, because they keep bottling it. We started the season with a belief of challenging, whilst accepting that City and Arsenal were slightly ahead of us. Still don't see a massive gap between the chasing pack, and the same teams will be challenging for the top.It shouldn't, but if we win I feel like he's going to stay because Woodward and the board are too shortsighted.
I haven't when we've been away from home, and given that we're probably underdogs this evening, and people aren't expecting much, I'm hoping we'll surprise a few people.I've had those little inexplicable bursts of optimism a few times in recent weeks. I don't anymore.
