I would want to give him another season. He's not as bad as he has performed so far, and maybe van Gaal is a conjurer who can make him play better. Plus I don't want us to take a 20m loss while trying to sell him.

Can't see the club cutting its losses this quickly, particularly as we're so weak in cm anyway. I suspect it will happen sooner rather than later though. We'll eventually get to the stage where Fellaini just has a squad role here and, though he is good enough for that squad role, there would still be plenty of other players better suited to the club and our style of football.

I still maintain that if we play a 4-3-3, Fellaini should at least be given a chance to play in front of the back four. He's had one season here, where no one (except maybe Rooney) stood out in our team.
We should give him another year. Maybe LVG can work his magic. Its not like he is going to start anyway. Having him as a backup could come in handy.
Get replacements in that area first, then flush the last turd from the Moyes-era.
