"Like he'd been punched in a lay-by/thumbs up" had me pissing myself earlier. I love the Football Ramble.

The Tuesday Club is great fun.

Alan Davies got me in absolute hysterics with his Giroud impression this week. They're not the most knowledgeable, but it's funny enough for me to get over it.

Is that an Arsenal podcast or is there enough in it for everyone?

One thing Arsenal have for them is the best podcast by a country mile. I wish Utd had anything half as entertaining as The Tuesday Club.
The Official RedCafe Podcast is as good as it gets.

I don't want to be rude and I'm sure I couldn't do any better but I'm a huge Utd fan and I look forward to the Tuesday club, the Redcafe podcast really doesn't compare.
Yeah, I was being sarcastic. It was pretty poor.

I agree all the United podcasts are very serious. Always talking about the Glazers, midfield issues, City domination, etc. Enjoy podcasts that are a bit light hearted like The Tuesday Club, Football Ramble & Football Weekly to an extent.

But the best United podcast is the Manchester United Show they post weekly on Beyond The Pitch.

Using location as a tagline: because I'm just not
I don't know if I'm over it or what but I've severely shorn my list of podcasts I actually listen to down to Football Weekly and The Football Ramble, as well as the odd episode of 5 Live Daily/World Football Phone In when I'm really bored.

Marcotti and his gang of idiots annoy me too much for me to listen to The Game, the people behind Beyond the Pitch are really really gormless and sound like they record using WW1 radios, World Football Daily got really bizarre and frankly to the point where it wasn't worth $5 a month and the Australian Four Four Two podcast is basically two fat men sitting in a room who know less about football than I do.

I just realize I have one episode of redcafe podcast in my iPod. I don't even remember I download it.

It was an old one, Benitez was still in Liverpool and they were discussing Pool game against Villa. The bit about Brad and Biscuit is hillarious, although most of the hosts sounds the same, only storey sounds different.

Whoever they have on Football Weekly Extra this week is the same twat they haul out every year to criticize Ferguson. He even said we've not been as impressive as Liverpool this season.

EDIT: Rob Smyth. He also said Ferguson's era was finished after Rooneygate.

Smyth's a big United fan, although normally a critical enough one, cant remember what it was but he made a ludacris statement a few years ago saying fergie was a spent force or something like that, before united won 3 leagues on the bounce and the Champions League

I'm kind of going off FW. Still have plenty of good pundits ( Rafa H, Michael Cox, Phillipe Auclair ) but some are quite boring and Glendenning's role can is getting quite dull. The best bit is generallly AC Jimbos opening puns.

The Ramble and Off The Ball football show podcasts are better IMO

Just give Sid Lowe a weekly podcast. I could listen to him for hours.

The Tuesday Club was extremely funny this week. I don't really understand why, but I find myself completely losing it whilst listening. The Giroud impression never grows old and the description/laughter over Adams on Sky this week was golden.

Yeah, gotta say that the Tuesday Club is great. Wish there was a similar podcast for United.

Aye, I think the twice-weekly format is running the banter-well dry.

I've got no real connection to Arsenal but it is my favourite podcast. Consistently funny. I try to avoid listening in public places because I end up chuckling away like some creep.

I think the fact I nearly always agree with Davies and the others' opinions helps. With the likes of Guardian/Times podcasts I find myself frequently infuriated by what they say but I think TC hits the nail on the head for almost all general football topics. Managers in particular - the Pulis/Allardyce/Dalglish etc patter is always good.

Is that on again? I checked a while back and it hadn't been updated.

Football Weekly has gone badly downhill recently, thee last two eps the contributors have barely been interested in talking about the games. Did they even talk about the Kick It Out thing today?

It's only Jimbo and the foreign journos keeping the standards up.

The Ramble's hit and miss too.

The Tuesday Club is v.amusing.

I love the Ramble, I think it works best though if all 4 are really passionate about an issue or during the profile. I thought their entry for Bobby Charlton was extremely flat, however their one for Zidane was great entertainment in contrast.

Football Weekly....yeah, I guess. They always gloss over United it seems.

If you haven't already i can recommend this week's Tuesday Club.

Normally it is a good listen even for non-Arsenal fans, however the latest pod is both entertaining and informative when it comes to the perspective of the club's supporters at the recent AGM.

Starting listening to this a lot recently, have to say I really enjoy it. Wish United had a pod like this, would start one if I could.

Listen to Football Weekly and Tuesday Club every week. Would be lost without them tbh, music gets boring after a while especially when I'm not in the mood. Started listening to Red Wednesday last week, and it's not terrible. If you're looking for a United podcast I'd definitely try it out. Only listened to one episode though, will get a better impression of it after a few more.

I have no idea either, yet.
They are all wearing a bit thin for me. I'm liking The Tuesday Club though.

Tried so many times to get into the football ramble and they just come across a bunch of juvenile and unfunny wannabe comics. Others who I usually agree with love the thing.

You're right about the Ramble. They just come across incredibly pretentious to me, but maybe that's cos one of them appears to be called Marcus.

Never really got into the football ramble, probably because I don't have enough time or the effort needed to listen to 4 podcasts a week. 3 is a struggle as it is.
