Hope everyone enjoyed the game yesterday against the Euopean XI especially the first half it was great seeing how skillful United players are in a practice situation. Scholes Giggs, Ronaldo and Rooney were very impressive.

It was a shame some of the world stars like ronaldinho and Ronaldo pulled out. I heard the commentators saying Zidane might have played in the European XI last night but for Materazzi being in the squad.

What a shame his legendary skills would have lit up the game…I remember reading he’s a big fan of scholes as well, anyway I found this clip of Zidane on you tube

The thing about Zidane's skills is that it always looked like everything had a purpose, and an end result, thats what set him apart.

I mean, his skills weren't pointless displays of his technique, they had a purpose, and it almost always worked. In a sense, it wasn't really the skills that set him apart, but the footballing brain.
