People Forget what he was like at Lazio and how great a player he is. I think he is beginning to get his game up to the standard he showed with Lazio and a standard which the Utd fans will be happy about.

Agree. He played well in all three CL matches so far, but has yet to produce a good performance in league match this season. He also played well in a couple of CL matches last season. That's not coincidence. Hope he can keep it up and help us challenge for the CL this season.

maybe... also, it helps having a player like Butt next to him. Keane + Veron does't work as well IMO.. both players main attribute is to drive the game(in their own way)..


i think seba's been ok in PL, certainly as good as any of our midfielders.. but he's definitely outshone them, in the CL.

I've seen you play against the Z team when you lost 1-0 - where he was crap..against Bayer when we was good, but no where near as good as was made out here, and against Leeds..where he was anomynous..

But from all neutral reports he seems to have been good against the Euro teams, which have both been easy games....and crap against everyone in the league

very true for the Cl. He was superb so far (though the real test comes against the top teams)
But I don`t think he has been ok in PL. In example Butt played much better than him.
IMO Veron is a worldclass player, who isn´t suited for the playing style in PL. As soon as all players are fit again. I would use our "old" midfield Becks - Keano - Butt/Scholes - Giggs for PL and let concentrate veron on europe.
