Unfortunately it simply isn't true that whatever team you hate the most has paid off the referees. However what is definitely possibly true is that:

- Fabrizio Romano has never actually watched a full 90 minutes of football and might not even know all the rules
- People are sneaking fake scran into stadiums to get likes on Footie Scran social media posts
- Paul Pogba's ban is fake he is planning ahead for future documentary material

What minor football conspiracies do you believe in?

Harry Kane didn’t actually touch the ball that time he swore on his daughter’s life that he did after claiming a goal.

The Irish government are offering tax breaks to all Brazilian immigrants as long as their children HAVE to play for Ireland when they grow up.

I hope, at least.

That second one sounds very plausible actually

Phil Neville intentionally scored that own goal in the Everton vs United clash in 06-07. I don't know, it just always looked a weird own goal. Not complaining

Steven Gerrard intentionally made that pass to Drogba that helped cost us the league.

Doping is absolutely rife across football. Everyone knows and nobody wants to do anything about it.

Messi and Ronaldo were given steroids, the best teams, and referee protection to keep the Spanish league afloat for 2 decades.

City are playing shit to get sympathy regarding the charges.

Also in F1, Verstappen made it look like a tough season. Even though he won anyway.

I'm not sure what qualifies as "rife" but I'd believe there is a certain level they're allowed to push to with drugs in European football.

But Pogba popped for drugs after going to a doctor in Florida and coming back to Europe. So I think American athletes (NFL mainly I think but NBA and MLB too) are absolutely swimming up to their eyeballs in drugs on a different scale to European football.

Ferguson knew Moyes would fail and thus enhance his own legacy. He knew that only his genius could win the league with that squad in 2013 and needed a patsy to prove it. Everytime United concede and the cameras focus on him in the crowd, he looks sad but inside he is laughing

Players are constantly failing drugs tests but the ban isn't publicly announced and the club just says they're injured instead.
I find it impossible looking at how disgustingly common cocaine is now that no players are sniffing their noses out every weekend, seemingly 9 out of 10 young men are today.

That ref in the Chelsea Barca game hadn't been bought off by Barca, I think he just realised he'd sent Abidal off for absolutely nothing and thought he had to make it "right" by giving Chelsea nothing after that. It makes no sense he'd take a bung from Barca then make it 10X harder for them by sending him off because Anelka tripped over his own feet.

Yeah, that was definitely deliberate.

Bobby Moore 100% stole the Bogotá Bracelet

Most players especially on the lower side of visibility engage in illegal gambling.

I firmly believe the SEG theories on them heavily influencing targets, leaking team info etc.

Every single ref who claims to support some no mark lower league side actually supports one of the big PL teams.
