Yohan Cabaye to...

He was a great player at Newcastle, just couldn't get the game time in that PSG midfield. He'll do well at Palace imo.

Excellent signing, looking forward to seeing Palace next season, they have some decent players

Good player, still one of those that's a red card waiting to happen. Will be good to see him ping some in top bins again.

Didn't he cite a lack of motivation as a reason to leave Newcastle?

Edit: champions league football, never mind.

Great signing for EVERY single United fans second team for always producing heroics against the dippers.

Was never ever a viable option for us when people on here where crying out for us to sign him in the summer of '13. I guess we pretty much had no midfielders back then and Ando was one of them.

He will no doubt be a brilliant signing for Palace though. I feel he could have played at a higher level than that, albeit not the top level, but he obviously has huge respect for Pardew.

Great business for Palace. Always thought he was capable of plying his trade at United in some capacity.

Excellent signing for Palace. I think he could easily aim higher than that tbh.

Great signing for them. They've really taken advantage of their promotion a couple of years ago.

Correct decision to let Holloway go because he would have definitely brought them down and Pulis was also perfect appointment at the time. Letting him go last season seemed a bit mad at first but since they managed to get Pardew 4 months later it has also worked out very well for them.

Them and Southampton have both made bold decisions in letting Adkins, Holloway and Pulis go and they both reaped rewards. Soton replacing Adkins with Pochettino was some decision.

Would have taken him at United, would have given our midfield great depth in quality with the added games.

Good player but he's 29 years old, 30 by next season. For £13m i wouldn't exactly call it a bargain. I wanted us to go for him a few years ago though.

It's very good business but not really a bargain per se. I think they paid a reasonable amount for him and will most likely get 3/4 good seasons out of him which is good business for that kind of money. PSG paid £18m for him 19 months ago, so it's not so bad when you look at it from that perspective.

This one still isn't complete though. It could well hit a snag if anyone else decided to make a late bid.

Official.

Top class signing for Palace. I haven't seen him since he left Newcastle, but I would comfortably say he was good enough for any of the PL's top 4 then. I really wanted United to sign him at that point.

Palace fans must be buzzing with this. Terrific signing for them.

Great player and fantastic signing for Palace. Good to see him back in the PL.

Bolasie...jedinak....cabaye...Zaha
Must admit that looks a decent midfield

Think it will look a little more like:

-------------Jedinak---------------

Bolasie --McCarthur--Cabaye--Puncheon

Which looks pretty good if you ask me, McCarthur is quite underrated. Think they could improve on their striking options mind you

linked with charlie austin who based on last season and having the likes of bolasie, Zaha, Puncheon around him you would expect to score plenty for them
