the book is worth a read as well, its very funny, was reading it on the train on the way home from uni at christmas had me laughing out loud and getting funny looks from people

Can second this. Great read.
Basically, anything you see by Danny Wallace or Dave Gorman is well worth a read.
The Dave Gorman ones I can remember are:

Did both. The Cult is from 'Join Me', the country is in a book called something like 'How to start your own country'

This whole thing has been a bit of a mind-feck for me. I remember watching Dave Gorman's shows intently, but can never remember Danny Wallace being part of it, and I remember reading an article about this story a few years back, but I recall thinking it was just some random guy.

FUN FACT:

Danny's missus in this book, is Dave Gorman's ex(at the time of the 'Are You Dave Gorman' tv show), and the reason they don't speak any more.
