Well Iv started my travels again to various grounds around the country as and when I get the chance,I just happened to have one for Sunderland

I set off from my end of the world at 5am to meet the coach 60 miles away, the usual long haul trip down the A14 and then up the A1 seemed to take forever, but the pain was eased once we stopped in the Pub on the way up. The pub we use to stop in just happens to be something to do with Gary Pallister, yes the Gary Pallister, Iv been in there before when he's been there (Newcastle Away last season) Anyways, Im sitting at the bar when Gary strolls in, was smiling for the rest of the time we were in there :D

Anyways, we moved on from the pub and Gary Pallister joined us like he did against Newcastle last season

Anyways, aside from that, We got the usual escort into the ground and could hear the away end from outside the ground singing when we got there.

The game its self I felt wasn't too bad, we dominated for about 70 mins of it, the rest of the game we let slip, some great movement of the ball, and Veron is starting to impress a bit more then he did last season, Im certainly have made a liking to him now, Phil Neville on the other hand still didn't look comfortable on the ball, rushing every ball that came to him and poor passing and crossing made him look just that bit worse, fair due to the lad though he can play when he wants to, he's just having a bit of an off period at the moment I hope.

Giggs took his goal well from what I could see from my seat behind the goal in the other end of the ground and in all honestly we should of killed off Sunderland in the first half the way we were playing, the equaliser from where I was sitting looked a bit of a scrappy finish from Flo, couldn't really see much of it and still haven't seen the TV pictures to see how good it was, all I saw was a ball hit the roof of the net or perhaps the cross bar.

The game battled on though, a shot from Nistelrooy in the last few minutes saved from 8 yards was a real disappointment, the passing at one point was imense and thought we were going to score with such a big build up, but nothing resulted of it as to which point the sending off of Keane ment in the 90th minute that a goal probably wasn't going to happen.

As soon as the whistle went the Sunderland fans were celebrating as though they had just won the FA Cup, as United applauded the team off the field feeling a bit hard done by.

Going away from the ground, Gary Pallister was easily spotted coming into where the away coaches were parked as his song was sung by United fans as he got back on the coach, there was the usual police escort of all the coaches onto the Motorway and the long haul trip back home down the A14 and back to my end of the world at about 12:15.

All in all a good day, a point is better than nothing.

He's nice, didn't speak to him this time round, but he was nice when I spoke to him last time - he's also very tall, taller than me anyways (but thats not hard now is it ;) )

yaps, how about telling us what the singing was like and the banter between our lads and the Sunderland fans.

What songs were sung etc ?

We sounded awsome on the telly ! Very loud indeed !

dont think we were loud at all and i was there ... it was the usual stuff actually .. part ... theyre a bunch of muppets ..
