United faithful might remember this one from the recent clashes with Villarreal. Multi-purpose teenaged attacker who has been capped for Spain, and bears a passing resemblance to Alexis Sánchez. Interested in seeing how he develops, and whether he transitions to a more central or left-sided role in due time.

Yeremi Pino, with four goals, dismantled a blurred Espanyol in a match of complete local superiority, in which Villarreal imposed their law from the initial whistle. Three goals in the first half, to which was added a fourth in the early stages of the restart, made the young Canarian international the star of a game in which Villarreal shone individually and collectively.
Villarreal annihilates Espanyol with a historic poker game by Yeremi Pino.

A few months ago he had a clause of €30M, Barcelona was interested among others. In the end he renewed and now it is €80M I think

Mentioned him in another thread, certainly someone we should look out for. Seems older than he actually is too, was very surprised he's only 19.

The classic face-value FBRef check suggests there’s nothing particularly elite to his game other than his defensive stats (against other wingers). What type of player is he?

I like this guy alot.

Absolutely quality when on his game, just needs more consistency.

Definitely one to watch, however a sure hit to go to Barca, Real or Bayern in the next couple of years.

He's pretty loyal and would likely not want to leave for a small sum - at least from what I've read. Similar to Gravenberch at Ajax who said he'd never leave on a free as he owes them a lot.

If you've caught any of Andy Mitten's pods about Villareal (in and around our matches) it's a very small town and that team is absolutely loved. It's a real family. Pau Torres wasn't in any hurry to leave, for instance.

I think he made the right decision. Continuing to grow is the most important thing at his age.

In fact he had a little slump a few months ago, said by Emery, but he has already returned to a good level.

Linked to Arsenal and Liverpool now. Tasty player. Can't imagine Liverpool have space for him in their attack though.
