So instead of fixing the problem for the slim, microsoft have instead resorted to putting a sticker saying "don't move your xbox 360 while it's on". I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who's xbox is ever accidentally moved.

On a seperate note, does anyone know just why the Xbox scratches the discs, when it's moved while in operation? Is it so hard to fix it? It wasn't even a problem for the last gen consoles iirc, so why does it exist in the 360?

Never heard of this before, so you can't move the console whilst it's playing a disc?! That's awful!

To be fair, moving any console or computer whilst its reading is generally not recommended.

I've been thinking about it and I wouldn't recommend moving any computer whilst it was reading a disc.

looks for white text :nervous:

i thought it was common knowledge that if you move anything with a sliding disc tray (not sure about slot loading ones) while its moving then it will most likely scratch the disc

So the discs are only fecked if you move the console while playing? What's the problem then? :p

My PS2 has never scratched any of my discs and it's been accidentally moved while it's been on a few times.
