It isn't working for me despite being fine for the last month. Tried to connect to it today and it fails at the last part where it says I can connect to the Internet but not Xbox Live. So how do I fix this? I've followed their stupid steps on the help page but it didn't work. Now it's telling me my router or ISP may be blocking access. How does that work if I've been using Live with no problems since then.

Now it's telling me to open up my router configuration and make sure port 3074 is open on my firewall. Except I don't know how to get to my router configuration. I hate Xbox.

Yeh I'm with BT, but I'm using my internet on the laptop just fine.

Yea same here... so this is one thing I can't blame on BT then. I actually can't believe it isn't working, I just went to the shop and bought Battlefield 2 for the sole purpose of playing it online again with a mate and the servers are down. Unbelievable.

I had this once. I got really pissed off and frustrated. Turned it on the next day and it was fine.

Have you tried turning everything off and then on again.

My internet did go down for a few hours before though, I had flashing red lights instead of a steady blue on the hub. Hope what ever it is gets sorted soon I want to play Fifa clubs!

Just came in here to laugh, Phil. So .
Swap you for your PS3? Please?

Yea I have turned it all off. That was part of the XBox support guidance

My Xbox live wasn't working either. Hopefully be back up soon.

Anyone know how to fix this, it keeps saying it can't obtain an IP address. I tried all there steps and it keeps telling me to enable DHCP via my hub. I went on it and it's already enabled. It keeps letting me on then fecking me off as soon as I search for a game or join a party. It's annoying.

Has anyone bought those those Xbox Live Gold membership codes off ebay. Seem cheaper than elsewhere.

Just wondering how reliable they are (sellers seem to have good feedback) and how long it takes them to send out the code?

Not off ebay but I have bought codes online and they email them right over.

with Xbox Live Gold membership I just let it run out and every time it does I get offered 2 months for £2. Been doing it for about a year now. In fact it expired again the other week so let me check if it's still on.

Yeah I've had a few off ebay, points, 3 months and 12 and all were emailed or sent to ebay message box. Think a few people like to send it out though so just check the description fully to make sure as they probably get people trying to skank a code, saying it doesn't work.

Most are online till midnight or something as well, again check, if not message them. If they reply then order.

I bought my first one. Saved a tenner. Make sure their feedback's high, ideally they'd have sold them before. I believe they email the code or something over straight away to you, well advised.
