FFS I'm really having trouble atm , wii the other day, today my sons xbox is playing up and hes getting upset, so somebody help me out please?

Hes playing lego star wars but his controllers are lighting up as player 2 and 3 stopping him from taking the 2nd player along with him, being as hes the 1st player? if that makes sense.

Hes changed the batteries and tried to re-sync the wireless controllers, still doing it. I'm fecking hopeless with things like this, help?

Oh right I get you now, hmm is there anything around that it could be thinking is player 1? And have you tried turing it all off and on again?

Yeah turned it all off, is there a possibility that someone else in the area is playing a wireless controller affecting it? Other than that I am stumped.

try reconfiguring the controllers? (white button near the memory card slots on the console and white button on top of controllers)

EDIT: sorry i missed the bit where you said you tried that

Unless a third controller is plugged in this shouldn't happen. Any plugged controller becomes player one, he hasn't got a wired guitar or something plugged in?

Is the box telling you the first player is connected?

The green light on the console is reading 1 2 and 3 connected , there are only 2 conrollers! player 1 is moving but player 2 isnt, how so if controler 1 isnt showing as connected?

When you play the game, player 2 doesnt follow you around, therefore you cant actually play? you can only "drag" the other character around.

Doing my boys head in this is.

Yeah, thats exactly what he had, playing guitar hero yesterday, still had it plugged in. Tbf hes only 8 and didnt realise and I'm shit with consoles. Thanks man, he says thanks too.
