the latest xbox kinect is 130 at tesco
you can get an xbox elite for 80 quid at best buy i think which is pretty good price considering the were around 150 at one point.
just go for the new one i say.
kinect isnt the new xbox, its the motion sensor thats due for release
you can pick up a 4gb xbox slim for £130 or the 250gb for £200
the 250gb the better of the two, loads more room on the hd so you can rip games to it and means the dosk isnt spinning constantly (quieter, cooler)
you can pick up a preowned for anywhere from £60 now though if you shop around, noticed a few in the window at gamestation today with a game for like £70
Personally I'd get the new one and be very careful about buying a pre owned xbox.

The latest Xbox is a differently designed version of the 360 with a couple of new features like built in Wi-Fi

Don't get me wrong it has it's uses and might work very well. I just see it as one of those gimmick type things, that won't be overly used once the initial shock value is over.
What are the new ones like?
I hope it does video recording, and I expect to see the results of that as your fat belly and arse are jiggling about in front of some stupid dancing game.
I still haven't gotten around to buying one.
