XBL connection problem.

I've been online with my 360 for 8 months now and never had a problem, however i tried to log in just now and it's banging on about my MTU level or something. Saying it's too low. I had a google around before posting this but i'm still none the wiser really.

I don't use a router, i connect via Internet Sharing. So basically my Virgin broadband is connected via USB to my PC then my Ethernet cable is connected from my 360 to the back of my PC, kind of using my PC as the router.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I wanna play Fifa :(
 
Ahhh never mind. When i get the MTU message on my 360 i keep clicking about how to resolve it but that window is blocking the message that's saying XBL is down for maintenance today.

Bloody typical, i get a night off from the mrs and i can't even play bloody XBox :(
