It looks as if they've decided to make another film. According to some website, filming has started this month and both Mulder and Scully will lead. Some other actress was mentioned so I suppose there might be some love interest involved for Fox :rolleyes:.

I hope it's a big improvement on the first and "Final Destination" which came from the same stable.
 
Intresting news... I saw Gillian Anderson in one new movie and she still looks fit. :)
 
Well they're not going to have a love interest for Mulder when at the end of the series Mulder and Scully "hooked up".

That would kind of devalue the entire thing. Personally, I hope it's good, but the show finished so long ago that I can imagine it being shite. Also, the X-Files thrived on the mass conspiracy theories it generated that took more than one season to resolve. I don't see how they can do that in a two hour film.
 
First movie was shit, the show had a couple of great seasons though
