I thought that posting WUMS was an offence that led to a banning. From what I can gather every post in this transfer forum is a WUM.
I mean, who in here is privileged to know the ins and outs of who we are interested in. Our new manger will be dealing with this and as far as I know he is not talking to anyone in here.
It seems lets just pick a player and start a thread about him coming or not coming.
Oh and before anyone starts to say it was in the press they will make anything up to SELL A NEWSPAPER !!
 
People like to speculate about who we're signing, that's not a WUM, it's just boredom mostly
 
Nothing wrong with an old WUM imo. You know this Bobby, you are the master after all. it's all a bit of fun. Not your fault if others see football as cerius bidnes.

Hes partly right of course, noone actually knows anything here about the clubs future. Anyone important enough to know would keep it to themselves or make an official leak or brief via the correct channels.

On the other hand, do not search the internet for the truth. You will only be disappointed.
 
I thought that's the purpose off this forum (in transfer section), discussions, rumours, and off course transfer mupetry. But I agree with you, some off us do get over excited and kill the transfer threads.
 
On a more serious note I have heard that Van Gaal is looking to add David Beckham to his staff. In what capacity I am not sure but will keep you posted.

I'm sure Becks would jump at the chance, despite his MLS project.
 
Oh, BTW this is not a wum. As many of you know I was connected with David and still am on his setting up a team in Miami.

If I make it up, I'm a WUM. If I tell you what the papers have made up, it's a rumour.
 
This is silly season and peolpe like to share their opinions who we should sign not just what is in the paper. What's wrong with that? Nobody is forced to read fan opinions here and can read the newspapers only.

So far I have not read any post of somebody who wants to make me believe he knows what is going on behind the scenes
