On the one hand he is due a goal, on the other hand he has really not been all that effective for us so far, lots of youthfull enthusiasim but not a whole lot more.

then again we need to beat leeds, how about a 3 pronged attack of ole, rvn and forlan?

i personally wouldnt play him, however i dont know why but i have a feeling he is going to play an important part in this game.

tbh, I think if Fergie wants to win both the PL & CL this year, he has to play the strongest possible team for every game from here on in. Relying on poo &/or arse to slip up is madness so all we can do is play to win every game with the strongest possible 11 from now on.

I've read a few post's recently where some have said "concede the league" or "rest so & so v the sheep". Crazy talk imo. There's only 11 games left (6 PL & 5 CL hopefully) so ease up on training a bit and play the best players ... They get paid enough ffs!
 
Yes, but only if Ruud or Ole aren't available. Diego isn't going to gain any confidence sitting on the bench. He needs to get that first goal under his belt.

yeah a goal is over due but he has caused th oposition defence alot of problems and has created chances for himself and other (see spurs game), yes maybe he should have put a few away but he will EVENTUALLY, even RVN needed 5-6 games to get goin' !!

If OLE and RVN aren't fit then FORLAN WILL play ! simple ! :rolleyes:
 
Well Forlan scored in his national debut this week, so why shouldn't he continue for us. My guess is, that now he has confidence and with this, he will play some very good (and goalrich) games in the future.
BTW RVN haven't scored for what 2-3 matches!!! But he will probaly (and hopefully) get back in...
 
He's gunna be away on international duty is'nt he?
