Rooney(just asking)?

How many "stars" have we seen burn brightly for a couple of months and then fade into obscurity in the past? Fergie doesn't usually buy badly (unlike houllier

I think Jordi had his career more plagued with injuries. Was never allowed a decent run. I think he is a versatile player up front. Would have been more successful with us, had he been more injury free.

I watched Jordi Cruyff in Spain several years, and everybody thought that he was a skilled player, to some degree. But nobody thought that he was going to become, not a star, even a good enough for FC Barcelona player.
Of course, he was given many chances in Barça (daddy was the coach there, but, in some other case, the name Cruyff sounds nice in Barcelona), but he never proved to be good enough. And I don't remember that he got many injuries in Barcelona.

If that fat bastard can keep him quiet for 90 minutes then he must be well overrated!

He was a risk in terms of injury - whether he was going to become like Ronaldo and fall to pieces every few months.....just a thought.
