...if I said that it would be exciting to sell Becks, Keane and RVN and start playing with some of our youth squad like in 92? Wondering whether they will be able to cope with the pressure etc?

:D

We didn't play with the youth squad in 92, but with the youth squad of 92. ;)

And, no, well, what you say yes, but starting to play Brown and O'Shea is a bloody good idea IMO.

I get you, err... no no I don't ohh... sortof.
;)

Anyway, its like my own an anti-gloryhunting reaction.

I love the success United gets, but I get a kick out of the underdog winning and thumbing it at others.

No chance of United ever being the underdog in the Premiership. We're always expected to win.

I mean, Real winning the CL because they can buy anybody they want is like Ferrari winning the F1 cause they have the best set-up and backing. It kinda devaules it.

And no, of course I love it when we win, before you think I'm totally off my rocker.

That's also why this season is something I look forward to. I honestly prefer a good struggle. Controversially, I'd say the 2001-2002 season was more interesting than our 2000-2001 season with that strolled league win and all.

I agree with you. Sometimes i think complacency is creeping into some of the players. Maybe they should realise winning is not a goddamned given right... they have to fight for it.

How you can say complacency has crept into Uniteds game is crap.Prior to last season United won the league for the seventh time in nine years, three on the trot as good as any team in the history of the game.Quarter finals of the Champions league season after season.I was pleased with United and the way they played the second half of last season, Beckham was missed as was Keane at the start of the season.Eleven points in front and a game in hand is complacant.

Sory Phunky, but I agree with LOF on this one. United were not complacent last season. More like confused and disorganized at the beginning.

I wasn't having a go at the team, just describing that its also fun to have a romantic situation when a team (eg filled with "kids")no one expects to have a chance, pulls through.
