Worthington Cup United v. Leicester City

Just watched the draw a good draw for us imo even the kids should beat them
Tie of that round has to be
Sheff Utd v Leeds

Wigan v. City too, good opportunity for City to go out. :D

Our kids will get a fairly stiff challenge for them with Leicester, should win, but will have to show their quality to do so.

We should play the kids and give them the chance to prove themselves and enjoy some of the limelight for a change. If they are not good enough, and lose, is that throwing a game??

I think not.

Would depend on how much faith you have in the kids and team that is put out.

Well said. It gives us more of a chance to see what backup we've got aswell <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Normally the fringe and youth players play, but this year injuries are such a problem i don't think even Phil or Diego will get a game in it. May might get his chance tho :D

I agree with the lad who said that we shouldn't throw a game. But at the end of the day, there is a PLC behind the managed who wants the big $$$.

To the PLC, there is no income from Worthington Cup. Therefore, it is used to motivate the reserves and, possibly, show the shining star among them.

Yeah, I'd love to see some of our younger strikers given a run. Oh yeah, and Forlan too :D
