Worst United Player in your memory under SAF's reign

Massimo Taibi in my recollection. he had his moments, but he simply wasn't good enough.

i never really liked prunier either.

Prunier was only on trial wasnt he? Taibi didnt have enough of a chance, tho i'm more than happy with fab. Probably milne, he was never united class.

mickey phelan did his job - in a nicky butt sort of way. there have been many less talented than him.
massimo taibi gets my vote, although karel poborsky must run him close. its never a good idea to buy a player on the strength of one very good goal (for czechoslovakia - when they were one country - in euro championships).
Fergie's always matched phenonemal buys with real dead dogs in his time at OT. Hope its the former rather the latter in January.

I beg to differ.

Anyone remember a successful Mickey Phelan pass?

prunier had plenty of chances to prove himself IMO.

Taibi also did.. i recall so many mistakes made by him.. i'm no player slaggers but these two never made my ideal United squad players.
