World Cup Forum

I'm not sure that there is enough interest.

So that is a definite maybe.

The amount of people posting on Noodles Ashes Extravaganza forum provides the arguement for having a world cup forum, and this time the matches are played are reasonable English hours!

Of course there is. And far more than there was for the Ashes. It's the bloody World Cup. And when the Ashes forum was made you said that there'd be one for the World Cup as well. Making a separate forum will also generate more interest.

No! Find a cricket forum.

I wouldn't have made this request if we'd never got that Ashes forum but after that I think it's only fair that we have one for the WC as well. I'm sure at least Sultan will agree with me.

I am supporting mehro on this one.

I don't usually watch cricket but will be tempted to.

Give them an inch...

I love cricket and posted a lot in the Ashes forum. But one day cricket, no offence, is mostly for part timers and clueless plastics.

As they say, its just not cricket.

Whatever next... 20 feckin 20?

The thread for the triangular series between England, New Zealand and Australia, had 30 people in it give or take.

And that was for a relatively minor tournament, with games starting at like 2 or 3 in the morning.

So yeah, i'm with Mehro on this.

What harm is there in having one, in the same way that some people who come here only interest themselves in the football forums and dont' go to say the Current Events one, that'd be true in this case.

And it's only for a few weeks.

There's a fecking Cricket Forum, what's the difference?

Well I was totally against the Ashes forum but certain people outvoted me.

I didn't even notice this. I now change my view to indeed say that it is spasticated beyond belief.

Don't really see a need...but whats the harm.If the Ashes could have one....

 Lanky!

Archie did promise one to be fair.

and it'd be better than the Ashes forum as i'll be in St. Lucia...i.e. not posting!

Lucky you, GG! I'm only a couple of hours from the place by flight but can't go because of my studies.

What can be discussed in the 10 days before it starts? Everybody knows niether England nor India will win it.

There are the warm up matches, mostly one sided though.
