So who do you reckon will win the World Championship which is starting at the weekend?

Ronnie will be favourite but he is liable to do anything. I don't think he has the consistency to win it again.

My pick is Mark Selby. He has been outstanding this year.

I think this year could see the end of Stephen Hendry's domination in the game.

what a fecking game between hendry and allen. hendry was down 7-9 and made a come back to win 10-9

Allen fecked up really. That could have really jump started his career. Bad day for the Irish with Judge losing also after being in front. I have a feeling Doherty will be knocked out by the young Chinese lad in the 1st round.

Well played Ding against Fu..10-9, good match that.

I think we'll have a suprise winner this year... Mark Williams to get a shock 3rd title! Remember where you heard it first.

Hendry showing some of his best snooker in recent years..still no where near his best though, but encouraging signs for Hendry fans.
Ding showing some bottle to come back abit into the game, something he failed to do at the masters.

with his terrible attitude he will never be a legend.

Agreed, never a legend..but truely a genius, I'd say the most natural snooker player I've even seen.

Hasn't he got Bipolar? In which case, aren't you being a little prejudiced?

He will go down as a legend, it's just a shame he can't push his potential to the maximum, otherwise he would be simply winning everything everytime.

My apologies, I had no idea...

Yes, Ronnie has got Bipolar. Makes sense really doesnt it? Most people with Bipolar are gifted with creativity, and most creative geniuses are diagnosed with the disorder. Still though, there is still a huge camp of society that wont believe in mental illness and view it as a taboo subject. It cant be too hard to believe, little if nothing is more complex than the human mind on this planet. Who knows how a slight chemical imbalance can affect behaviour, which we deem as anti-social.

Well, I don't know if it's enough to excuse his antics sometimes, but in most reports he is a decent fellow and is often talked of highly even by his fellow professionals (remember the final which made him popular in China in the first place?).

He's a nutter, but an incredibly talented and intriguing one!

Higgins-Day is a good one.

Day just won the last frame and he's leading 9-8.

fecking hell, could the BBC commentators be any patronising towards the Chinese players?

Ronnie at the China open...personally I find it hilarious. If you watch the whole 7 minute interview they ask him the same stupid questions and take about a minute to ask each one.

Ronnie was playing as good as ever when I watched a bit.

With him playing like this its just a matter of if he will mess it up.

with his terrible attitude he will never be a legend.

I think his attitude will mean he is more likely to be remembered as a legend. He will be remembered as a troubled genius. It's always the case in sport or music or suchlike.

O'Sullivan, what a legend.

4 straight frames to win it today. 13-7 being the final result and he finishes the last frame with a 147. Absolute class.

O'Sullivan has beaten Williams 13-7, made a fantastic 147 in the final frame. Played unbelievable stuff.

I knew he was playing good but that 147 was brilliant.

He's class and breathed new life into snooker. Around 8 minutes though, he's slacking.
