A curious (and very defeatist) post. Weren't most of these players already playing in the CL? Should Utd or any other team be more worried because there has been a "merry go round" of players this season (when it happens just about every other season too)?

I think the English clubs have nothing to fear. They have just a good a chance as anybody.

What did you expect, the CL is always going to be hard. Also Just because a team is made up of world stars doesn't means they'll function together. AC Milan in the early '90 only won it once of twice. More recently Barca. Klivert, Rivaldo and Figo but they didn't do so well. Also I think people forget just how many stars we have just because we see them every week. RVN, Seba, Keane, Becks, Giggs, Scholes, Ole, Rio.
It a team that wins it not 11 individuals.
 
It doesn't matter how big the names are... it's about how they play together.

We're as good as any team in Europe on our day.

The best team in europe is bayern, the best team of indivuduals is REAL and then United, with maybe AC followed by Inter Milan.

I hate to admit it, but bayern are the best unit, and they do not have as many world class stars as us and REAL.

Once we click and keep the same team for 10 or so games, we will see a big improvement.

Bayern have been built with europe in mind, so have REAL. We are now starting to show that we are a more Europen equipped team (excluding the 99 team-which has been dismantled). if we get the british spirit and form back in the premeirship, and go back to the suck in and counter attack days of old in europe and home, we will destroy big timers along the way.

But at the moment, there is no longer the harmony in the dressing room that used to be, anymore, stuff like fight for each other,givie 110% for the same goals, instead of wanting to swap shirts and settle for draws.

there is definately dead wood amonsgt the oak at united, and fergie needs to to burn it!!!!
