Psg denied Man United to talk Ronaldoinho. And there new coach said he will do anything to hold onto him.(www.planetfootball.com). Well know its going to be even harder to sign him. How much cash do you think United will splash out? Is Ronaldinho the number one target like Rio was last year? If we Fail to sign Ronaldinho, Sir Alex said he would be going for Recoba. Does anyone know anything about the Ronaldoinho transfer? and the chances of it going threw?

I'm starting to have the horrible feeling that he's coming. A lot has been said, and 10 million seems like a bargain in Sir Alex's eyes.

As for Recoba, I think you've made that statement up. Never heard a peep other than the normal transfer ramblings. Plus he's ugly, we have Chadders (and soon Ronny).

I think the Ronaldinho transfer has a good chance of going through, and thanks to our latest ties with Sporting I think Quaresma will come too. Can't think of anyone else to be honest, maybe a cut-price defender.

Na Mate. I dident make it up. I was supprised too.check for yourself www.planetfootball.com when you get there it will let u choose a club to check there news then go to Man Utd and its says a list of news if you look on the list it say Recoba To Be 2nd Choice or somthing. And yes he is a Ugly Bastard but he can get it done. Add Me to Your Msn if you want to talk about football J_Bassi10@hotmail.com

Stay away from planetfootball mate. It's basically an online tabloid heaven. There's a major difference between a player being linked and a manager declaring his interest. In this case, if you'll have a look here there is absolutely no foundation to the story. The reason being because there are no quotes. Without quotes a story is nothing.

Yah I guess your rite but why do ppl make up bs?
It's Kinda Dumb. If you wanna talk about Football add me to ur msn J_bassi10@hotmail.com, Do you know of any websites that have good hard evidence of tranfer spectulation? Is manutd.com ok? Because on there it has a big like of player who United are liked to, but i think it's bs because it said United Might Make a swoop deal for Ronaldo.

Well add me to your msn mate if you wanna talk football J_Bassi10@hotmail.com

www.bbc.co.uk/football is usually pretty decent.

To be honest mate I pratically never use my MSN. My contacts will tell you I havent been seen on there since Liverpool were in Europe. ;)

Ok thats alright. So which players do you think we should sign and will most likly be looked at. I have heard of a guy called Robinho or somthing heard he is good. And there is this young guy from german apperantly he plays very well. (Rumors) also say Nedved or mabe even thuram will come? Also whats the deal with Harry Kewell? Would we even have a chance. He seems like the kinda guy who would stay at leeds 4ever. Kinda like Henry and Beckham stays at the club he was really brought up.

I outlined who I think would be suitable in the second post of this thread mate.

Robinho seems ok, I mean he must be if ourselves and Juve want him, but he still looks paper thin.

Is the German kid you're talking about Markus Neumayr? He's a very young midfielder for Frankfurt who is coming in the summer to be paid 4,000 quid a week. A lot of money, but it seems he'll start at the youth teams like everyone else of his age.

You can forget Nedved and Thuram. As for Kewell, a lot has been said but he has to think a bit. He has a lot of offers, he may not want the aggro of going to United when there are so many others open for him, Arsenal and Pool in the Prem alone. Personally he wouldnt be my first choice.

Yah, I dont really want another midfeilder but Ronaldinho. He is class. Do you think we need a defender or mabe a keeper? as escude still a choice? or has he signed a contract? also Fergie said he would like a striker. There are many that come to mind but someone like Kluivert? mabe is he a possiblility? Duff? Bellion? Bettie i dont think so because he is doing so well at his other club.

I'm not convinced a big-name striker will come, simply because Ruud is a major put-off to those who want to play every game. Diego or Ole are also great back-ups. I do however think its common kowledge Bellion will sign.

Not convinced about Ronaldinho. I've outlined my concerns about him, if you look at one of the threads about him in this forum, you'll find some good debate.

I will stake a lot that Ronaldinho will be a United player nxt season. As we as United fans are well aware of or have become accustomed to rather, is that transfers are never straight forward, in the sense that there seems to be certain politics and games that are played between player, the seeling club and the buying club.

Articles that I've read plus what I know to be factual information, would serve to suggest that negotiations will begin after the May 31st French Cup Final. Its inevitable that he will be a United player unless the deal hits some unexpected major snag. The new coaches words mean feck all to be honest, Venebles said the same thing about Rio when he joined the sheep and look what happened there.

Ronnie will probably be our first signing of the summer and I happen to think he is pure class!

But what i dont understand is why some ppl dont like him? He is so good and he is young. Yah he gets mad but who doesnt atleast he is not like stig tofting. He is Ball Control,Pace,Crossing,Heading everything pretty soon he will be best in world. If not him how about denilson? I want to see someone like a brazilian bring more of a attacking flair. He wont nessasarly play mid he will kinda play like a support man to RVN like mabe 5 steps behind. What about Cisse? You like Him? he is pretty good wouldent be a bad signing.

I ALSO THINK HE IS PURE CLASS I LOVE THE WAY HE PLAYS AND HE ANIT REALLY A MONEY HUNTER SO HIS WAGES WONT BE OVER THE WALL LIKE FIGO OR ZIDANE. CIGAR YOU HAVE MSN?

I'm telling you, if we sign him it will end in disaster, and part of that will be Verón knocking his two buck teeth down the back of his throat!

explain why? How? he is good and if you people can see that why watch football? ppl like him bring excitment to the game. And if you can only make fun of his teeth ur shallow. What is bad about him other than his face. I would year a box on my head to be as good as that.

No mate I dont have MSN, how do I hook that up?

Cisse I think is a class player with massive potential. Possibly given the right club (i.e. not Livershite) has the potential to be the best striker in the world in the next 3-5yrs!

As for lil Ronnie, the man is pure class but I can understand the scepticism, I think there would be less fuss if people knew what we were really getting, in the sense that he is a bit of an unknown quantity both in playing ability+style & attitude. I think if we were buying Vieri or Raul or Kluivert lets say there would be less furore and ambiguity! players like lil Ronnie are always a risk but sometimes risks need to be taken and there is no better judge of an educated risk than SAF IMO so lets see what happens?

Let me know about that MSN stuff Mr Footballah.

'kin hell mate, give the guy a chance???

Alrite mate here were you get msn http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger/ there its easy just click download know. once you get it tell me here on redcafe or just add me J_bassi10@hotmail.com

Yah i think Cissie is class, he is always attacking and has everything a striker needs. Plus he wont be too much I see it has this 2 signings mabe three 15mill for Ronnie mabe a good 5 for Cisse and if we need is mabe escude for 4 mill.

I think ppl are really judging Ronnie on where he plays since he plays in france there not really anyone who can play well against him. And ppl look at him as a bad guy because he got angry for not been played. But hell, with talent like his at the french title on the line he needs to be played. Anyone who doesnt like him can think what they want but when he comes to united at takes us to the Champions League they will see, judging players is wrong. I think ppl were kinda scared about playing o'shea but he is one of best defenders we got. I want Ronnie at united and i hope he comes, I am almost sure he will be arriving this summer. Has he said anything about United like how we are? Like i think he would like it because United can give him a chance to show his stuff in europe and i dont think he has tasted glory and we need him. Sorry about typing so much. :)

Fair enough but in what way does your preference of Aimar make Ronaldinho a cnut, as you so eloquently put it?

Aimar ehhhhhhhh he is good and all but we dont need another player from argentina. he prefers spain and with a team like valencia he he quite happy. Ronnie is way better and he is younger. You think ronnie is good now wait tell he hits his prime. Or as you think he is a "cnut" can you tell me how? does he insult ppl?

Not much difference as he's from Brazil so theyre similar. I think Aimar is the better player - around the same age too.

Not Better Mate. Ronnie can dribble better,Cross, and shoot better, pass and take better free kicks. Ronnie is also much fast. Aimar is strong, better tackler of the ball. I have watched both play many times. There close but there styles are diffrent. Ronnie dribbles and aimar passes alot!!! which is good in a sense but if he brought the ball up like ronnie does mabe beat a guy he open more space.

i think passing would be more potent than dribbling in this league to be honest. Sir Alex knows best.

BTW citing his free-kicks as a perk isnt really relevant because Becks, Veron and Giggs are all ahead of him.

its depends and veron barly plays. He doesnt fit seem to like united. Ronnie will bring alot to United and we have nothing to do with amiar so forget him.

How do you know that?

lol sorry... he doesnt seem to fit in at united and he doesnt really seem to like it much.

I am talking about Veron

Verón has looked an absolute world beater in Europe this season, and I'm sure that if he was fit to play in the two matches against Real Madrid we would not have lost.

Well if he dident dont you think us fans would have heard somthing? Never have I heard news about him. Valencia won the La Liga last season why would he leave? There team makes it to europe and can with the League.

Because by all accounts the little curly haired one likes his ocio! He's a bit of a Dwight Yorke.

Not good!

It all dpends on where he comes from in Argentina. It's not a country very influenced by Spanish culture in the same way that the rest of Latin America is. There are many Italians, and many British in their history, and the climate can be very harsh too, what with it being the 8th largest counrty in the World in land mass.

They play Rugby and Polo, and make corned beef!
