His contract expires in the Summer and new contract negotiations have yet to start, considering Silvestre has been handed a new one I think it very unlikely that May will get one, and like Johnsen, will be let go on a free.

Really it makes no difference. United have tried to sell him, he has been on loan, and we have Ferdinand, Blanc, O'Shea, Silvestre, G Neville, Brown in front of him.
