Will Barthez leave in the summer?

Candona

Radio 5 Live hit out a rummour that that Barthez will leave in the summer after the Derby match.
Hmmm...I dont know what i should say, he is not a particularly reliable Keeper, but he does make some excellent saves from time to time. Shall we get another keeper? I say no.

don't forget that in addition to being an error prone clown, that he's too short as well.

We need a keeper who will get us 38 league clean sheets. ;)

Nah, he's not good enough.......
;)

Who is this "him"? Mark Bosnich? haha <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
I do think Barthez is a bit small for a keeper. He doesnt scare the opponent enough. We should have a ugly, nasty, monster like Keeper.

Actually it's getting boring. Those newspapers also claimed both United and Arsenal were in for Colombian Cordoba a couple of months ago. That was pure nonsence ofcource.

That's true. At least 10 keepers have been linked with United this season, and eventually it was always managers trying to sell their players, it was never serious.

Well, many things have been said after that game, thanks to Redpie, Floyd and Ichk, that's enough no ?
Yes, for 10 minutes, he lost his concentration after the nude man incident, but he kept a clean sheet against Tottenham, didn't he ? :p

Linked according the press, or agents.

And be replaced by who?

When the strikers miss a sitter, does everyone say they should be sold? Not if they do their job properly most of the time - so why isn't it the same for Barthez. He's made more good saves this year than mistakes. I know a goalie's mistakes (or a defenders) can be more costly, but you still have to look at the overall picture. And there aren't many goalkeepers as good as Fab available.

?????? + Ulrich Rame

I think the problem Stam...Barthez was so good last season when Stam was here...hmmm.....OH! and the paper today has linked Nesta to United...said he would leave if Lazio fails to make the Champs League, they said he'd leave for £25m! hmmm expensive...he is also linked with Real and Juve.
Since Lazio still owes United money!...we do have an advantage.
