How is a thread about Alex Ferguson criticising Manchester United fans not appropriate for the Manchester United forum? Last time I looked he was our manager. :confused:

I think it's pathetic to be honest, steering the forum towards the mundane and avoiding some debate about some really important and relevant issues. Will you only be happy when every thread is "How much do you love Ronaldo?" :confused:

EDIT: Sorry, "Ronaldo's Slicked Hair" :rolleyes:

What thread are you on about? The only thread I can find that Wibble's locked of yours is about FC United.

It's not about FC United, it's about Ferguson. And had developed beyond his comments on FCUM to comments about IMUSA too.

'Why's Fergie So Threatened By FC United?'

A bizarre thread. I thought Wibble summed it up quite well in his final post.

'Bizzare'? So our manager criticises two groups of United fans (including the only Independent Supporters Association - which he himself had previously endorsed) and you consider it, what, irrelevant? :confused:

Wibble's comments suggested he was incapable of any sort of critique of why he wanted to close the thread, hence my question (to him).

As I said, steering the forum towards the mundane, right I'm off to post on the thread about Ronaldo's hair.

Don't know what is being said in there now but from what I saw it wasn't exactly controversial... :confused:

Reason b) was the main one.

That and it being the 47th* "lets whinge about Fergie and get digs in about United" thread of the day. It was just another part of THAT interview. There is now a merged thread for it all. The 73* Carrick threads are next for merging.

* slight exaggeration.

* slight underexaggeration.

Correction made.

Pity I love wading through the Carrick is shit threads, really makes my day worthwhile..!

Ooooh, I'm not having that. Technically it was the first thread of a completely different interview!

Nevertheless, ta for the answer.

You missed all the fun in the middle of the night, Ralphie.

We stickied the Ronaldo hairdo thread and everything.

I saved you some cake, though.

After Evil Jason stickied it, Good Jason reasserted himself and deleted it.

It was off topic anyway, but I understand why it was left there, seeing as we don't have a "Michaelness is a raging hemosexual" forum.

So we'll now never know how it turned out. The internet is poorer for Good Jason's decision :(

The hair thread remained me of when Ronaldo joined and we had hundreds of threads about Ronaldo's hair and other hugely relevant things from hormonal teenagers. Good times well remembered ;)

Reminded, even.

I too remember those days with great joy.

Those were my early days in the Caf, with CR7fan asking for crying Ronaldo videos in the newbie.

Between that thread and one on how evil United was for not sending all of the injured/resting players from the Euros to the US, I thought maybe I would be better off watching United alone with just the official site and the BBC as I had done in the past.

Then Bury promoted me specifically because of my asininity and arse-shredding in the aforementioned evil Americans thread.

I list this as number three in the 'Top Ten Reasons My Life Went Wrong', just being edged out by 'the sperm was my father's' and 'the egg was my mother's'.

Nice time line. Though you miss out the bit where everyone thinks you're a complete git :smirk:

god i remember the newbies when Ronaldo first joined

teenagers swapping topless pics of Ronaldo all over the place

I wasn't doing your time line, Brad.

Joined, promoted within days
Flirted with Laura

Notable arguements with Fred and the Rubberman not included. But everyone could say that. I'm the only person I've seen actually try to argue sense into them both for 10 odd pages mind, most give up much sooner (have sense / have a life)
