are all nandralone cases based in Italy. Davids, Stam, Couto, Giuardola etc.

Is it because the Italian testing system is that much better ? Or do other countries look the other way when it comes to nandralone. It makes me wonder how many other Prem. La Liga, Bundesliga types would test positive if they were playing in Italy

Tougher tests in Italy. Plus they are corrupt, so only foreigners get caught.

Apparently so. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. There have to be some officials getting greased here.

What percent of the players being caught are Italian--or is the system designed to screen out mostly foreign players?</strong><hr></blockquote>

I don't know the exact numbers Bob; only that the players getting snagged all play in Serie-A.

Will these incidents involving nandralone affect the players' availability for World Cup play? Are any of the foreigners beinging snagged in the Italian dragnet significant players on their national sides? [Just wondering what the net effect of ChampionsElect's conspiracy theory might be]

Is it time for Oliver Stone to make a movie about Serie A?

LOL. A movie would be interesting.

Casting would be a breeze:

Jaap Stam - Jason Statham
Fernando Couto - Benicio Del Toro
Edgar Davids - Busta Rhymes
Christian Vieri - Brian-Austin Greene
Fabio Capello - Joe Pesci

with special guest star Marlon Brando as Sepp Blatter.

:D

something dodgey is going on Italy, i too, find it strange that not one Italian has been caught, yet players that have played in other leagues ie Stam have tested 'postive', despite not having any history of drug use.

FRESNO: i think that they only receive a domestic ban.

BTW, i wonder if any Milan players will test positive? i bet Berlusconi will make it doesn't happen ;)

england and other leagues allow a higher level of nandrolone occurrence in the body than in italy. i think the levels are set by each countries olympic body; the olympic shit or ioc has something to do with setting the levels anyway.
