Do I sometimes get the "Who's logged in" thing at the top of the page, but sometimes don't? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Good question, i always wondered that, sad as i am. I think if you have multiple windows open its only in one of them, not sure though. Write a book on it 
When you don't it's cos you're looking at it via a php page or summat . . .
But when you're looking between threads/forums if you always use the "Go" option in the bottom right it always takes you to the cgi page which shows Who's Online.
Because the php accelerator doesn't support the cgi whose online. There is a php whose online addon but its crap.
