I would guess it's to save you from continued embarassment. If you weren't embarassed you should have been.
I guess that is why KK left. Too many people like to act like a ref here. You cannot argue, just take it... I thought it is a good thread.
I am not going to compare myself to Cantona, if one can accept the Wonder words of Cantona, why expel mine?
This was how it all started in Yahoo List for me. They decide what is good thread and what not. Instead Swearing and insulting go unpunished. Why, they are all buddies, and they can swear but you not.

A few facts for you though:
I didn't delete said thread, merely tried to make light of it's deletion on the grounds that it was utter crap and served no purpose in the United forum other than inviting others to ridicule you.
Nobody's comparing anyone to Cantona, the Cantona posts in your thread refer to an actual chant at OT rather than the hash you were creating.
KK had her own reasons for leaving and does not wish to discuss them with the hoi polloi in here, it had feck all to do with the mods or anyone else in this place as it happens.
What's swearing got to do with anything, we allow most things to pass and have never censored swearing. We will prune rubbish from the more serious forums though.

I will do more:
When i refer to Cantona words, i am refering to his poem on Seagulls. A lot of people also think it does not make sense. But we love it. It is very objective how you think of it. It does not really reflect on the reason on why the thread has been deleted.
If one thinks it has nothing to do with our Club, tell me making a song of our Club on the current event is rubbish, then i hold my hands up.
A lot of things started with people thinking the idea is ridiculous.
EG: The Earth is round...

If you think i am ridiculed by others, what about being insulted and sworn upon by others? So you would censor this but not that. Is this policy here? I have no problem with you not censoring the swearing, it is part of life anyway. But i object to things that get censored because you mods like it. So i can point out many examples of threads that should be censored but not.
I am sorry if i offensed you, not my intention, but just how i think.

Oh, and as I recall Cantona never wrote a poem about seagulls, it was merely a comment in an interview where the press were pushing for some sort of apology for the Palace incedent. The British press attempted to interpret the seagull/trawler linea as some enigmatic French statement but Eric basically admitted later that it was bollocks that he had come up with on the way into the interview and referenced nothing more than the press' laziness.
When you say "we" love it, who are you referring to? The French? who generally ignored Cantona the player and only came to appreciate him after he retired, or the Swiss? Who's prowess at football is a Jiminy short of cricket.
I don't know you from Adam and am not attempting to further humiliate you, if you are genuinely French/Swiss (and it's too late/I'm too pissed to be arsed checking IPs to make sure) then I would sincerely advise you to calm down, absorb the atmosphere here first and keep the posting simple until you get to grips with the humour.
