Just read on planetfootball that Real and Barca are stepping up to sign Leverkusun's defender Lucio. At 23 this guy I believe is one of the best centre backs in Europe. What I dont understand is that why are we not signing him. We are looking for a good central defender, what the hell's wrong with him. :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
lucio, that big gangly fella with the long arms and the knuckles scraping off the ground?

I thought he looked very clumsy in both the last 5 cl games,

Geesh. So a player in a position we need is reported (in an overhyping internet site) to be interesting other clubs and someone has to jump. WHY?

Fergie knows we need defenders and he probably also knows who he wants and is working on it. He saw Lucio twice, so whats the big fuss?

We are one of the 3-4 top clubs in the world i terms of football.

But any normal individual would prefer to live in Barca or Madrid climatwise. Right?

So let´s all keep on driving our shitty cars etc and do our best to make Manchester a bit sunnier.
 
Technically he looks good and strong too, but also a little rash and impulsive. And 23mil is alot of cash, probably will go to Italy.

MU need a defender , this guy ain't it. he should be playin' in a CM role , he can attack well. no need for that type of attack 1st defend later stuff.

Have you seen those lot try to defend, almost as bad as us last season. (Except when Real had Hierro and Helguera those 2 CB's are quality)

I think the fact that he kept us under control for 180 minutes shows how good he is. Even though half their defenders seemed to be injured, we didnt get a sniff.

Our goals were pure luck. All of em! I can see why other fans hate us, we're a bunch of jammy bastards.
 
Lucio's pure class ! He have proved iy in CL and Bundesliga this season. He definetly would've fitted in into our defence, no doubt ! But of course the big spaniards are going to have some (again) :mad:
