Why can't 'promoted' people post in the newbie forums?

I really want to reply to this Italian guy. Just some constructive criticism.
I don't know why we're not allowed, surely 'promoted' people know the rules.
One of the things I liked about the newbie forums was the guests from opposing teams coming on.

But I wasn't talking about just specific one-offs, I mean permanently.
How come we have to ask each time?

Once you're promoted that's it you can no longer post in there as your no longer a newbie. Ask to be demoted again.

nope. it's a ban-able offence.

We used to let loads of people post in there.

It became silly. Decent newbies were drowned out by swarms of babbling spastics from the main board. No one recommended anyone, or engaged in decent debate. Most people just liked posting in there to show some bizarre form of stature, on an internet forum
