I've been tinkering again and have moved the who's online box to below the forum index. So don't panic, it's still there, just lower down.
This means less scrolling to see the actual meat of the page - the forums themselves.

I've been tinkering again and have moved the who's online box to below the forum index. So don't panic, it's still there, just lower down.

The changes are good and useful but I've got 3 comments:
- When you're not signed in there's a big red banner with Rooney which looks a lot like the things you see at arsenal mania and the rawk. It's a bit too much and one of the things that make redcafe great are its simplicity and the not so many colours used, if you understand what I mean.
- Also, a question not concerning those changes, why don't we have match reports and such now or maybe why did you have so many articles back then and not now. I believe many posters would be interested with the position of the editor in order to write articles.
- Last question, again not concerning those changes. Why don't you let other email domains to register? This way many of the readers of this forum would sign up. I understand the reasons behind it but there should many other good United fans that want to talk about their team but this stops the from doing so. Would it be too much for this site in terms of bandwidth?
This is important to prevent the caf from attacks and stopping banned users from returning. New email service providers are banned everyday after we face spam attacks in the newbie forum and yet it's not very difficult to get an email account that the caf's system will accept.
Looks good because most other forums have it at the bottom of the page

I felt moving the site to be a dedicated forum was the best way forward. But extra content that you mention is something I've been thinking of recently and may look into it.

Nah it looks good. perhaps the 'jump to forum' feature could be jazzed up mildly though? The right hand side of the home page looks far better than the left hand side
