I would think by being unofficial, it wouldn't even really need to be about United. Whatever Niall decides he wants this place to be - that's what it is.
FC United wouldn't exist without United supporters. Manchester United wouldn't exist without United Supporters. It's an issue that's important to the future of both clubs...and both clubs futures depend (even marginally) on which way the supporters lean and how they move forward in the future.
Why can't people support both? Why can't people support one and respect the decision of those to support the other? The piss-taking is tiresome and the "Holier Red Than Thou" attitude should be reserved for the cock jockies over at UWS and RI. I like this place the best because of the variety of people, topics, and opinions. It would seem to be completely against the principles of being a United supporter if people started taking sides. Just what's "united" about that? Irony in its most ironic form.
This Glazerites v. Coalition thing is self-defeating. And serves no real purpose. Keep awareness of the issues one both sides raised and allow for the dialogue on both sides to continue. That's how the battle can be successful on all fronts.
