Hope so, Phil was very poor last night. I'd play him in the middle with John on the right.

Is Handchoz going to be back? Half-fit? And will you be dropping Dudek?

no, yes and no.
the only debate really is who starts up front with owen for us and whether gerrard comes back into the side. . .

no, i don't.
i never feel confident playing you lot or everton because form and everything else go out of the window. anything could happen.

i'm not confident enough to make a serious scoreline prediction, anything could happen. . .like i said, it all goes out the window.
betting on this match is simply funding bookies' retirement plans.

Same here, we were playing far better than youse when we lost @ home last season.
We had won 9 on the trot and youse had just been booed off Anfield after drawing with the saints.
It wouldnt matter if we were top and youse were bottom, it could still go either way.

oh yeah, absolutely. both the last 2 games at OT have been pretty much smash'n'grabs by us (insert_scouser_punchline_here*).
anything can happen, dodgy sending off, dodgy penalty, OG. . .

On balance, you Scousers should be fresher since you haven't had to travel to Europe this week, however, the Mancs seem to be playing better than they were, although, defensively, they still look dodgy.
At Anfield,I'd narrowly give you Scousers the edge on saturday, but anything can happen. So I'll go for a draw (2-2).If we can beat Villa at Highbury, then 4pts clear would be good!

I agree - but hopefully this is something that affects us more when we're top dogs. We're not expected to do well now and the past two games wll have injected a bit of confidence....so cautious optimism perhaps?
