Who would you bring in to the team that didn't play today?

I agree with Stan.

I wouldnt have too much of a problem with Veron coming back in as he has definitely got the idea lately. But I wouldnt have a problem with Phil Neville or Nicky Butt in the side either.

exactly

I reckon Veron still have chance to fit into our "PL side"

and P.Neville/Butt/ Veron

it's a good competition there

Veron has been great lately, so he has to start and will, no doubt.

I would be tempted to leave out Rio.

It's not fixed now. It was fixed a couple of weeks back. Then Rio and Keane came back to disturb it, after which we've had a run of unconvincing results. Today we beat the relegation favourites, not the ultimate test.

Bring back O'Shea for Rio. Preferably Gary-Wes-Silvestre-O'Shea. Veron should also come back for one of the central midfielders.

And what do we do with Beckham/Ole/Giggs then - in the team you're talking about, Giggs and Ole were in, and Becks wasn't.

Saying that, a fully fit Butt could replace P Nev and the others can replace injured players

!!</strong><hr></blockquote>

It's joking. Yesterday's performance was average at best. Against the worst team of PL we could beat them for half effort. Veron will be back for P.Neville at least, and O'Shea can also be back if Rio continues his poor form.

Yep. Rio's a joke.

You want Brown and Silvestre at the back. O'Shea left.

Might as well flog Rio. You wouldn't get half what you paid for him but you could have someone just as good for half what you would get for him. (It does make sense, read it again slower)

Young Matt Dawson or Phillippe Mexes for instance.

Rio will be ok, it'll take time but he's got the potential to be a great player for us.

Butt for Neville in EPL away games.

Veron for Neville in EPL Home and CL. This season, I think the team's tactics have been revised to accommodate both Veron and Scholes, with a decent measure of success.

You'd need to give Rio another year or so before jumping to any conclusions or agreeing with the bollocks spouted by KMD. We need an international class CB who is comfortable bringing the ball out of defence, can lead the back line and cause problems at set pieces.

Agreed Rio's not the finished article but tell me who else is closer.

Arsenal nearly came a cropper there!

Every game is different. If we take Newcastle 4-0 win against Tottenham as an example, we may deduce that Newcastle is a world beater or Tottenham is going to get relegated.

So every game is different. In this game, WBA was totally crap.

Glad to see we got the third away win. But I still don't think the team's performance yesterday was really so brilliant that other injured players would find it difficult to get into this team. Even the players who beat Liverpool and Arsenal are not gauranteed to keep their place in every match, let alone WBA.

Your comments on Rio are right but does this mean that Fergie must now keep JOS on the bench whilst Rio takes time to settle in. Wes and Mickey are the best CB pairing based on recent performances which means JOS slots in at LB. The problem for Fergie is that even if he knew that he couldn't keep a 30m acquisition needing games to acclimatise on the bench, or could he ?

Veron has to be back or we become predictable, as all our goals (vs W.Brom) came from Beckham crosses, manager's will keep him tightly marked in future if we just rely on wing play, and with giggs not a threat on the left (at the moment), this (man marking of Beckham) can be done with ease.

With veron we have options through the middle. therefore we won't become predictable. If this team gels, with Giggs back on form we will be nearly unbeatable in the EPL.

Players just hitting form (at the right time)this season:

Keano, Veron, RVN, Beckham.

Players already on form and surprising everyone:

Mickey, Scholes, Wes, O'Shea, Barthez, the Nevilles, Ole and Butt.

Players well off form:

Rio and the whole of the dipper Squad <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
