Who Would Make Who's Team?

Consider this: Which players from Liverpool, Leeds and Arsenal would get into a top form United side. Never mind current form, who on reputation and ability that has demonstrated, would get into a United side who was top of the table and playing their best football.

Liverpool: Hyppia, Gerrard (maybe a bench though), Owen.

Leeds: Ferdinand, Martyn, Kewell, Keane.

Arsenal: Cole, Viera, Pires, Henry.

Comments:

I also figured, on ability and form, which United players would get into one of these sides:

Barthez (when in form), Beckham, Keane, Giggs, Veron, Scholes, Van Nistlerooy.

I underline the fact that I say "ability" and "when in form".

All our defence and our keeper would make your starting line up..

So would Leed's back 5

You need to realise how poor your defenders are..

I said it all last year when we had the best defensive record in the league.

Good defence = opposition players not getting chances to score.

Poor defence = opposition getting chances but not taking them.

We had a lot of luck last year. Compared to this year tho, they were brilliant.

If you prefer Neville and Sylvester as your full backs over Babbel and Riise then there is no helping you!

Damn it, missed out on Riise. Sorry!

Davo, I do realise how bad our defenders are. I've just said in the United forum that we need to bring in some new defenders. I don't think Brown or Blanc are fully capable back there on current form.

The Best team from all Man Utd, Leeds and Liverpool would be...on current form.

Dudek

Carragher Hyypia Ferdinand Riise

Gerrard Keane Hamann Kewell

Owen Van Nistelrooy

Beckham has been utter pish lately so no place for him, Likewise Veron. Can't think of anyone playing aswell as Hamann at the moment in midfield.

i think manyoo's problem is now that the midfield and forwards have no confidence in the goalkeeper and defence, so they don't commit as much forward as they did - last season, the reason your defensive record looked so good on paper was because teams never got a chance to attack you - you had them pinned back under the strength and pace of your attacking.

this season, ferguson's tinkering with the formation and the employment of the lazy white elephant veron have meant that it's easier for teams to force you back.....

I think that Veron has so far shown United that he is not worth £28m, or even close. His performance on Saturday was his worst yet for United.

Out of the Championship chasing teams this year, there are a number of players that would be welcome additions to Uniteds challenge for Europe.

Pool;
Dudek; Reliable goalkeeper
Carragher; better than Neville
Hyypia; Miles ahead of Blanc
Riise; Better than Silvestre/Irwin/P.Neville
Gerard; playing better than Veron

Leeds;
Kewell; playing better than Scholes and Giggs being out.
Keane; a livewire likely to make goals out of nothing.
Ferdinand; Steady reliable defender.

Arse;
Viera; obvious
Henry; may be a good partner for v.Nistlerooy
Parlour; Not as good skill wise as Scholes, but ATM is showing himself to be more up for it.

Chelsea;
Hasslebank; Can score goals
Terry; an excellent Centre half, probably better than Wes.

There are a lot of players in the league that I would like to have at United. But the flipside of the above is that the only players I would release if given a replacement from the above would be two Nevilles, Blanc. And ATM, I would give Veron a bit of a rest, show him a few videos of United circa 1999 and let him decide for himself if he wants to play for United as opposed to just turning out for us.

As you can tell I am very disappointed right now. My support is not waining in the slightest but I am getting sick of our inept performances against teams that I personally see as not being as good as United.
