There are numerous threads on who we are signing, so how about who we think who our rivals in the league and champions league will sign? Also will there be any big names going to mid table teams and will the milan clubs spend big?

Make your predictions...

I get a feeling that City will buy well. They will have to because their manager needs technical players in all positions and I think he will not make the same mistakes as the last summer. Just a feeling.

Liverpool have been linked with Keita and Van Dijk. Can't see them get either though as both clubs don't want to sell and would demand way more than what Liverpool would spend.

I'll go for a punt and say Liverpool will sign Leon Goretzka. Contract expires next summer and he hasn't signed a new one yet. Heidel says he's not for sale but we'll see.

Didn't Goretzka agree to do a Lewandowski and go to Bayern next year?

Why do Liverpool have wage issues? Those guys shouldn't be on insane wages and Liverpool should have good revenue, no?

They've also said goodbye to Sagna and Clichy, Navas and Caballero, so my guess is they'll sign a couple very good, young fullbacks, like a Mendy, Rose, Gaya or Bernat out left and maybe Walker or Aurier on the right, and a starting keeper.

Never mentioned wages. Each player would cost in excess of 50m. Can't see Liverpool paying that.

And nah, Goretzka denied it.

Random Predictions

Man City:
Ederson Moraes
Kyle Walker
Fabinho
Alexis Sánchez

Liverpool:
Ryan Sessegnon
Jonathan Tah
Naby Keïta

Chelsea:
Romelu Lukaku
Tiemoué Bakayoko
João Cancelo

Tottenham:
Douglas Costa
Ross Barkley
Kieran Tierney

Arsenal:
Benjamin Bourigeaud

At BEST?

City
A new GK. Donnarumma? Or they could just get a safe option like Valdes.

They will need new fullbacks with the departures of Zabaleta, Sagna and Clichy. And the likely options seem to be Walker, Rose, Gaya and Fabinho. Any two of those four and they will have strengthened.

They will probably get a new winger to make up for losing Navas and potentially Nolito so I think it's likely they might buy someone like Muniain or Castolo.

Liverpool
I don't see them attracting any major names but I could see them signing Timo Werner and Oxlade Chamberlain. Naby Keita would probably be the best coup of the lot if they can manage to get him. Imagine him and Mane linking up. Also could see them signing an English keeper like Pickford, Hart, Butland or Forster. I don't believe Casillas will join them.

Chelsea
They don't have to strengthen many positions but Bakayoko would be a big get for them. And if Costa leaves, they're definitely gonna buy a striker and that could be Lukaku unfortunately for us.

Spurs
I can't see them making many big signings to be honest. I think they might lose Walker or Rose as well. And potentially Dier. If that's the case, they might buy Luke Shaw to replace Rose.

Arsenal
Lol they won't sign anyone. They'll probably lose both Sanchez and Ozil to Bayern.

Liverpool will need depth at defence and my bet is they will sign Ryan Bertrand, Harry Mcguire or Ben Gibson. Basically their purchases are from the smaller clubs in the league.

I'd be surprised if Van Dijk, at 25 and not English, cost over 40M. But he did sign a 6 year deal last year, so Saints have the leverage.

Tierney is an LB. Spurs will sign an RB if Walker goes to City. Rest looks reasonable enough, though I think Arsenal will sign an attacker if they lose Sanchez and City will sign a starting LB.

Arsenal

In

Pickford
Kolasinac
Ndidi
Barkley

Out
Ospina
Gibbs
Chambers
Chamberlain
Lucas
Sanchez - if he does take the rumoured 270k

I know. I was thinking the same a month or so ago, but a couple of weeks ago Ralph Krueger (chairman) said they won't be bullied in the transfer market anymore and that they could realistically turn down £60m for him, as mad as it sounds.

I don't know who but I think all City need are some defenders and a proper GK. A GK, one or two good ball playing CBs, a couple of FBs, and get Gundogan back to full fitness and they're raring to go.

Yeah, I saw that, but if Van Dijk makes a big stink, who knows.

Forgot he even signed for them.

As a player he's been one of my favourites for a few years so I didn't forget. :(

I don't blame you or anyone for forgetting, to be honest. It feels like he's been out injured for donks.

Hoping its different this time around and we'll get Van Dijk and Keit but im not holding my breath with FSG

Really really really want Keita though. Phenomenal talent.

Werent Bayern after him?

I can see Spurs signing a few domestic talents, possibly Gibson and Gray now Zaha has signed a new contract. They might go for Shaw as well if United let him leave for about £15m.

Everton

Jordan Pickford
Davy Klassen
Wayne Rooney

Arsenal and Spurs look set to have weird summers. Spurs look content to sell Dier, Walker and Rose as looking as they get proper fees. Not bad calls per se, but it's risky.

Arsenal I think will be mayhem. Sánchez is going to Munich, by all accounts chamberlain is going to Liverpool and no one seems to dwell much on ozil also having one year left. I think there is a lot of their players tired of working in wengers hamster wheel. Word is that this is basically why chamberlain wants out as he would have extended with a different manager.

Liverpool will sign all the players the other top clubs arent interested in..

City will sign

Ederson
Van Dijk
Walker
Mendy
Fabinho
Sanchez
Bernardo

And will absolutley walk the league I'am afraid

---------------Ederson-------------
Walker---Otamendi--V.Dijk--Mendy
----------------Fabinho---------------
------Bernardo--Silva--KDB---------
----------Sanchez---Jesus-----------

That team has no width and not enough pace. It will look more like this:

Ederson
Walker - Van Dijk - Otamendi - Mendy
Bernardo - Fabinho - KdB
Sanchez - Jesus - Sane

Silva will become a rotation player with KdB and Bernardo due to his advanced age, most likely.

I'd cross VVD and Sanchez off, then add in a more unknown CB. The only way Sanchez comes in is if Aguero goes out, and only if you could get around £70m for Aguero and pick up Sanchez for around £40m does that makes sense for me.

I've heard next to no rumours about Arsenal. Given they've got some players to hold on to as well, and no CL, this is a huge summer.

The only rumour regarding Arsenal I've seen is Hazard. Thorgan Hazard.

City: Ederson, Walker, Mendy and Bernardo Silva.

Just a feeling.

They won't sign Sanchez. Arsenal are not fools.
