Mhiki, Shaw, Martial and Smalling were some of the squad members he bullied the previous season. Who's next?

My guess is the supposed signing Perisic? Morata? Or maybe a current squad member? Staff?

I think he's just going to go straight to burning down orphanages next, so evil and heartless is he.

What sort of thread is this?

Bullied? Don't be ridiculous. He was right to go after all four players.

I'm not sure on that. What I'm sure about is @Successful starting few more shit threads next season.

Hopefully he totally burns Rooney in early August, leaving him in no doubt as to his prospects for the coming year.

Rooney, VAR guy, Eva Caneiro and at least 2 of the new signings (if we make that many)

Rooney, if he stays.

Rooney, Martial, Shaw are the three that stick out

I don't think he can attack Rooney. Not even SAF had the power to push him out the door. He's as slippery as an eel.

Deary me, what is with you ??? Why haven't you started a thread about all the players the fraud LVG bullied or are you ignoring that part of his legacy??

Come on now!

Here's a crazy idea @succesfull - Mourinho is not sadistic but will go after players who doesn't perform to what they are capable of.

I know it sounds far fetched and far out that he doesnt hold hands with the underperformers and give them a nice little cup of pickwick, but breathe and give the thought a chance.

During SAF era, Rooney was actually good at football. He used his football ability and his fan base for leverage to do whatever he wanted at the club.
Now it seems he doesn't have both. And with no leverage, he is just as vulnerable as any other players.

Hopefully he moves on Martial and Shaw before the season starts.

Neither are going to be much use with so many big games about now we are back in the CL.

I suppose it depends on how many lazy good-for-nothings in desperate need of a kick up the arse we have in the squad next season.

 Going after. He can go after the lot of them if he damn well pleases. Those 4 needed a fire under their bums.

I'm not of the opinion that it in anyway helped.

Mhichi - Ostracised for half the season, came in and played well for around 4 games before being rather poor (despite decent goal return)
Shaw - Again played very little, he had a couple of promising games at the very end. Surely Jose had to have gotten through to him earlier than that?
Martial - I don't remember him having a good 90 minutes in the entire season.
Smalling - Nothing to suggest it needed saying or that it had any effect. A stronger personality probably would have reacted very negatively.

So although I'm not suggesting he shouldn't ever use this tactic, I can understand the concern because it carries a risk and the signs aren't great that he respects that.

I'm actually struggling to think of any player he didn't treat well. I don't think he was every talking to reporters about how crap his players are . He only talked about us as a team.

Just as vulnerable as any other player? I don't think it's a good idea to take this statement any further.

Mate, read zlatans book and you might change your view on some of these managers. He talks about guardiola, Mourinho and even Van gaal. I know that it is only 1 persons view but the good thing about Zlatan is that he doesn't sugarcoat anything and it gives you a good idea about what is going on behind the scenes.

The picture is getting clearer why Giggs left so suddenly. He could smell trouble coming and he would easily had been the first staff victim. You need to be 100% submissive like Rui Faria. They knew Giggs wouldn't be anyones knee dog. It's no wonder really he can't get along with other strong personalities like Wenger and Guardiola. Attacking other managers is one thing, they are public people and they can handle these sort of behavior, but after that horrible attack on Eva Carnerio I lost all faith in him being able to control his temper - totally unbelievable. If he wasn't such an amazing manager he would never had been let into the public room as a common person. Freaking thug.

Shaw - especially if he picks up more injuries/takes too long to recover, and Martial again, which will most likely result in both being sold. Justification will be 'both were given 2 seasons under Mourinho'.

Think he's alright with the rest of the squad, especially if he sells one of Jones/Smalling. The other will fall into line for JoMo.

Some hot sex kitten. With he and his wife living so far apart, it would come as no surprise if the tabloids revealed he was playing away.

I dunno about some of that. Giggs seemed pretty submissive alongside van Gaal. Usually looked like he was half asleep on the bench.

I can see things going sour with Rooney if he stays, everything seems to have gone way too smoothly for two people with such large egos.

Shaw and Martial are the ones I worry for, though.

By the way the transfer market is going, he'll start with Woodward. He doesn't have a big margin to play, though.

The ones who don't put in the required work and/or show the required attitude.

I think you have misunderstood his body language totally then. That was his way of saying "Ok, I know this is for the good of the process but it's taking a really long time. Could you just leave your freaking legacy and go? I want your job!". Giggs is never going to let anyone stand above him in the peaking order.

I don't. I don't think he stood up to him anywhere near enough and just floated along going along with everything.

If he had the balls he should have stood up to him.

Loved him as a player but don't like the person very much.

I hope he is bullying Wenger, Pep and Conte.

But besides this, he can "bully" any player who isn't willing to run through walls to win a game
