Who thinks Ronaldo will go to Madrid?

The Spanish press are quoting Moratti as having said that:

"there has been a change of attitude by R.Madrid...but that there are still many details that need clarifying."

He said that the clubs are in negotiation that Monte Carlo on the eve of tonights match, but warned that:

"the sale of a player is not simple...I am neither pessimistic or optimistic...the two clubs are negotiating to see if there is a way to conclude a highly complex transaction."

Will he? Won't he?

From the reports coming in, it looks very likely. If it does then Real will win the CL at OT. Considering the way Arsenal are playing, and our lack of strengthening, I have to think that they'll retain the EPL title this year. The best I think we can manage is runners up in both, and an FA Cup.

Perhaps if we sign a 4th striker and escude during the winter transfer window we'll have a chance of getting our ELP crown back, but to do so we really have to get all 3 points against top teams. I know we were delighted with the way we played second half v Chelsea, but we sucked during the first half and won that game last year 3-0. The only way we're going to beat the top teams is if more of our players are on form, like Giggs and Veron and the full backs - and sort out our system. There's hope on the former, but so far no sign of change on the latter.

I had a bet with Raoul that O'Shea will be 1st choice defender this year, and it seems Blanc has undeservedly remained ahead of him, I hope that if we get any problems like last year, Alex is quicker to sort them out and drop Barthez/Blanc or whoever this year's struggler is. I think this season will be much like last season, with some great and crazy games, highs but ultimately lows. I pray I'm proved wrong. <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

I've just looked at a few Spanish media sites, and they say things like "The Ronaldo situation will be resolved in the next few hours" and "Today we will resolve everything one way or the other"

Can't see it myself! ;)

solari has rejected move out of madrid so the deal is off again

He will be a Madrid player soon.

The way I see it, Inter can't force Ronaldo to play for them if he's already made up his mind to leave.

Eventually a sale price will be agreed...

He had a great WC, and when fit is the best in the world but if it were my money, I'd want to see him fit for a good stretch, so risky, I mean what has he done between the two world cups?
But maybe Real are under different financial laws than the rest of the planet?

Real are skint. Simple as that! When have they tried to do a deal involving other players before?

Not going to happen! :D
