Why should Becks be criticised ? He's just been out injured for several weeks. He's now back but will most probably have to play second fiddle to Ole and Seba for the time being. That doesn't mean he's any less valuable to United and there are no grounds whatsoever for wanting him sold imo.
I don´t think I need to answer that stupid question. And his jealous critics will kiss his arse again as soon as he scores a couple of important goals.`Not the first time this happens. Sadly that`s the way many so called football fans are these days.

Because some "fans" change their opinion about players every few months. It´s not just becks ; it´s about all the "creative star players" Veron,Giggs, even Scholes who is the new "forums darling" was heavily critized last season from people who think now that he is better than zidane.

Past autumn his performances were not great that’s why many of us (not me) started to criticize him. It doesn’t mean we dislike Becks. I love him and hope he will be red forever.
He's solid gold, and I truly hope he stays at Man Utd throughout his carear.
Keep critising him - and watch for the reaction.
One thing I will say about him though, is that he thrives on playing and practise. Expect him to take a few games to get his game back to its best.

I support him as I support them all. I'm not a Beckham lover though. He is the best in the world at what he does best (crossing from the right), but only a good footballer in other respects. He's got heart though and works his balls off, an excellent trait for a footballer to have.

Ole threatening Becks for ring wing. At a pinch Nicky could keep Keano' out. That would mean Ruud and Ryan are the only players without competition. A fourth striker could threaten Ruud, especially with 4-5-1. What chances the improved Quinton Fortune for left wing when fit? Surely we aren't that close to covering all positions?

I think a lot of the general criticism of Beckham this season has been rather unfair. Some people had conveniently forgotten that he had just come back from the first major injury of his career and it takes time to settle back into your rhythm. I also think rushing back to be fit for England in the World Cup might have affected him, and all these things need to be taken into consideration. A talented footballer does not become a bad player overnight (Giggs and Veron critics take note!) or even over a period of a few months, and Becks had been playing wonderfully prior to his injury.
Having said which, how lucky are we that Ole is playing so superbly in his role? It is not only good for the team, but a bit of heathly competition might be just the thing to inspire Beckham back to his best.
