I remember seeing, once or twice, a link to a full list of admins/mods with a few whitty words next to each one, but I never seem to be able to find the page without the link, which hasn't been posted for about a year.

It looks like a forum list but instead of names of forums it has the names of admins/mods

How can I find this link and can it be stickied to the admin/mod forum for reference?

Could be useful for working out which ones you can get away with insulting...;)

Cheers

Forum home page, below admin help forum, next to the 'mark forums read' option is the 'view forum leaders' link. It's that.

It doesn't show newbie mods.

The reason you can't see the Newbie Mods is because you don't have access to the Newbies. It only shows the mods for the forums you have access to.

For what it's worth here's the complete list:

what's the difference between a mod and an admin?

Admins can delete mods.

It's simply the amount of control you have over the website. For example, an admin can create or delete a forum. All mods can really do is edit, delete, and move posts around, give infractions and reps, and create polls - in their respective forums. That's about it. An admin could change your password and read your PMs. :D

Weren't you both at one point?

Actually no, you'd have way too much fun being an admin :)

Weaste an Admin? Give over. He was a scout for Sony, and not a very good one at that.

He was a definitely a mod at least.

You're too new to the caf to know, Hectic. :)

(not really, I have a shit memory so I could well be wrong)

I'm not new! I was here from the 03's onwards, just not as a member.

I can't remember him being a moderator, but he was an Admin for as long as I knew. Never a scout, as the newbie system wasn't around back then I don't think.

So I was right, he was an admin.

I too spent ages lurking around the surface of the caf. Then I decided to stop being a creepy weirdo and started posting. Good decision, that.

I was the admin that gave Hectic his avatar. I just can't really remember why he got that particular image.

I'm think I remember, but it's probably wrong, I might have a root around and find it.

Yeah but you're no longer an admin so I wouldn't have to deal with that horrible stench Hectic told me about.
