Puyol (Barcelona/Spain) - From what I read, he wants a raise. I think they will give it to him and he will stay at Barcelona. He is after all a product of their youth system and generally products of the youth system don't want to leave the club.
Nesta (Lazio/Italy) - I read that he is staying put. Madrid seems to be quiet on the issue. Edinilson and Metzelder have been the focus of their transfer target.
Edinilson (Lyon/Brazil) - Wants out of Lyon. Savio and Flavio are potential exchanges. Dreams of playing for Madrid.
Metzelder (Dortmund/Germany) - Madrid's top target though said he won't leave. Dortmund did value him at about 18 million. Tall and agile defender. Can read the game well for a 21 year old. A german defender is always a good investment.
Rio - Leeds don't want't to let him go.

who are u to judge who goes where? nesta will come ok there is a italian cutback on pay he wants money and he has been playing in seria a since he started and lazio ow us money for stam and will give us nesta and some cash in exchnage
there are plenty around, ayala being top of the list. djetou's available and seemingly on his way to fulham, if you wanted the likes of southgate, gallas or alpay, you could afford them, the italian clubs are crying out for money as you know, so the likes of fernando couto are available. . .there are plenty around so long as you focus on the quality of the player rather than the size of his name. . .
Ayala, Thuram are good choices. The major obstacle is that Kenyon has said we won't invest on playrs over 28. But IMO it is shite, defenders can play until a much older age than attackers.

Your right but today Lazio offered us Crespo,lopez or nesta to pay off what they ow us and its likly that we will take nesta and pay for crespo.
