Copa América has had guests even from outside continental America like Japan and Qatar.

Which countries would you invite to play in the Euros?

The best of the best like Argentina and Brazil?

Or a country that would be competitive but not win the whole thing? Your Colombias, Uruguays, Ghanas, South Koreas etc?

Australia just so we can hear the same old jokes & comments about them being invited to participate in Eurovision.

None because then it wouldn’t be the European Championships anymore , imagine if Australia won…..it’s bad enough that they are in Eurovision haha

USA :)

Commercially it would be great idea :)

Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt.

Close historic ties with Europe since the Roman Empire, geographic proximity and solid football tradition. It would be interesting to see what they could do on the Euros.

We've sent enough invasion forces over there to deserve an invite once or twice for euros ha

None. It is an European Championship with enough competition and money... and we enjoy it because of the visiting fans, too.

I liked the Euros more as an 16 team format, the big one and most difficult is the WC, don't buy the crap the Euros is more difficult than the WC, certainly not the 24 teams edition.

Having said that, and knowing it won't happen because we already have enough countries in Europe  I wouldn't mind to see teams like Japan and Morocco (or other North African NT's) invited to show some european fans that actually there is quality outside Europe and believe it or not it isn't only Brazil or Argentina.

But let's keep it how it is even if I don't like this 24 teams format, if UEFA expands it to 32 it will become a joke of a tournament, hopefully never happens.

@JogaBonitoRooney maybe it would be the chance for Brazil to stop being knocked out by European teams in the WC, great idea.

While we re at it - lets go full La Liga and just play the Euros in the US or the middle East.

Then increase the ticket prices so no normal person can ever attend.

Mongolia or one of those random Asian countries.

For no other reason other than to hear George Hamilton over pronounce their names on commentary.

Japan China and USA because money and their markets

I would send Colombia and Uruguay just to show all European that our 3rd and 4th best team here can win the Euros.

None.

None of the suggested countries are located in Europe and there are plenty of great European teams and players (Haaland, Odegaard) that aren't featured this time around as it is.

A rest of the world team which is only allowed to play one player from each country.

Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt.

I second this esp. the bold one. ;)

The obvious choices would be Brazil and Argentina though.

Why invite Brazil and Argentina though, they'd win the thing and forever ruin the history of the tournament if they never were invited again

What we should do is invite some random European CLUB that has no players playing on the Euro.

For example a team like Luton or Ipswich or some relegation battling La Liga team.

It would be really interesting to see if a club side like this could win the Euros.

In my opinion, they could go all the way and lift the trophy!

That would be really fun, imagine a France vs Luton Euro final.
