So I've decided I'm either going to buy Dragon Age 1 and 2 or Mass Effect 1 and 2. Which series is better?

I decided to hedge my bets and bought Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age 1 instead.

He's right, it does. On the other hand ME has potential inter-species lesbian sex, which shouldn't be over looked.
They're both must-have games however, and I would say both ME1 and DA 1 are better than their sequels so you made a good choice
