Where is the hunger, fans?!

The men lost 1-0 to Leeds. The U-19 lost to Newcastle. It's hard being a United supporter these days. Are we demanding too much? Everybody is talking about the "hunger for success". In my opinion I think the supporters (us) are not hungry anymore. We demand our team to go out and win every freaking match easily. There is no easily match! Everytime we take 3points it's hard work. To get the most out of every player we should stand together for a massive support. Let's show the other team that we have passion for our club. Let's show them that the fans are still hungry! As in "We will stand together.." :"We are Man United, proud, proud of our name!"

If you read the post on here, and see the frustration i think you'll find that the fans are as hungry as they've ever been.

I dont think it has much to do with our support and the hunger for success. As you may have seen the reaction of all the players on the pitch it clearly shows you how they feel. United have become too predictable and so is the great man himself SAF. I think the club needs a fresh approach and SAF to stay at Old Trafford has affected the morale of the players. He has done a great job at United and it will be difficult for any manager to match what he has done with Utd. But I still think the club needs a fresh approach.

I tend to agree, we have become stale but it is unfair to blame Sir Alex for all the problems, as long as we don't change manager mid-season.
If and when Sir Alex leaves, he should do just that, no future manager will never have a chance to put his own mark on the team with Sir Alex still at the club.

Absolutely. I am not blaming Alex Ferguson for the teams performance. He is human after all and there is only so much he can do. What he has achieved with United is beyond any other manager's dream. But for the club, I think he himself will take the decision to retire at the end of this season. Maybe.

The perspective clearly expressed in the first post here is not that of a fan but a 'fair weathered' observer.

No wonder United fans get tagged with the 'glory hunter' crap so often.
