Sultan, I fear that you are becoming too sensible. 
They are dependent on how many rep points one has.. You can click on User CP in the top left to check how many points you have..
Normally the rep point system is used for the Newbie section but I personally have received rep points even after I got promoted last September!
Someone 'on a distinguished road' was promoted by a mod/admin before getting to 150 rep points.

There is also "Will become famous soon enough" (Which is mine) Which is also when one was promoted by a mod/admin before getting to 150 rep points.

Better.. Because correct me if I am wrong but you are on 140+ points right? Also logically by reading the statement alone you can see that will become famous soon enough is better than on a distinguished road..
No I'm on 114.... surely the lower the rep count the better, as that would imply you where promoted well in advance of your required count?...140+ would imply just about ready before you got there...unless of course you reached 140 on, say, 20 posts in which case something orgasmic would happen and you'd win a biscuit

I got promoted with 73 rep points and it says I'll become famous soon enough too.
Well being promoted by a mod isn't always good then. I got promoted automatically after getting 150 rep points in 111 posts, but it took you 700 posts to get just 114 rep points. I haven't posted much since being promoted though

The lower your rep points must mean the better, as it hasn't took you long to get promoted

Not really, Mockney dude had 114 points in 700 posts, I had 150+ points in only 111 posts. Doesn't mean I'm a better or worse poster than him, just means that the system works differently for different posters.
